1. Who we are

Asympt.io is a health optimization tool operated from Denmark. We help healthy adults understand which areas of their health offer the greatest potential for improvement, based on published scientific evidence.

2. What data we collect

Assessment data (anonymous by default) — Age, sex, height, weight, and questionnaire responses are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you choose to create an account (future feature).

Email address (only if you provide it) — If you choose to save your results or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email. We use Resend (resend.com) to store and send emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Anonymous analytics — We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and assessment completions. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users. No cookies are used for analytics.

3. What we do NOT collect

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

We process personal data under: Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) when you provide your email address, and Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) for anonymous analytics. Health questionnaire responses are processed client-side only and not transmitted in identifiable form.

5. Data storage and transfers

Email data is stored by Resend, Inc. (US-based, EU-US Data Privacy Framework compliant). Analytics data is processed by Vercel, Inc. (same compliance). Assessment responses are not stored on any server — they exist only in your browser session.

6. Your rights under GDPR

As an EU resident, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email in the footer.

7. Data retention

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is aggregated and retained indefinitely. Assessment data is not retained — it exists only during your browser session.

8. Children

Asympt.io is designed for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. datatilsynet.dk
